Tuberose culture

I am going to chance it in zone 7 and leave these in the ground and mulch them heavily in the fall. However, in searching the plantfiles, I do not see any mention of how to fertilize them. What do you use? how often?

Wood,
I will comment on their hardiness as I don't know about the fertilizing part: I'm in z 7b and I leave mine in the ground and they come back. I have heard that they are hardy to even colder zones as well.

so you don't fertilize yours at all?

I feed all my bulbs as the foliage begins to wither with a fertilizer with a high last number (potassium) to help mature and build them up. Seems to work, and I expect tubers are no different.

Wood,
I have mine growing in a bed with other kinds of plants. I usually feed a foliar type fertilizer. The tuberoses get what the other plants get- lol! I don't feed them a speciality food for bulbs/tubers. I prob should though.

Thanks, folks. I usually do add bone meal to any bulbs, corms or tubers. I just wanted to make sure, that since they were once a Mexican wild flower, that fertilizing them wouldn't cause all foliar growth and no bloom
