great mosquito repellant

Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

I just re-ordered this stuff from Garden's Alive and I love it. You'd think as dry as we are the mosquitos would be gone but those big nasty grey ones don't suffer from drought. This stuff is non-greasy, smells OK, not deet but herbs and flowers, lasts 3 hours and when you put it on your face if you get it on your lips, you won't feel like barfing.

http://www.gardensalive.com/product.asp?pn=8795 - it is called Sting Free Insect Bite Protector, also good for ticks. Do a google for 'garden's alive coupon' as they have a $20 off a $40 order.

The little buggers were dive bombing me yesterday - they'd get about 1" from my arm and veer off!

I have to mention that since I dropped (and broke) a bottle of soap/candle scent called "magnolia" (patterned after L'Occitane's Magnolia fragrance) on my kitchen rug, and then took said rug outside to "air out" I have NOT SEEN ONE MOSQUITO! In fact, I left the rug outside hanging on the deck because (1) it smelled so good, (2) still too strong to bring inside, and (3) best of all, no deck mosquitos!!! I also planted a citronella plant that is growing like a weed, but the real deterrent is apparently the "Magnolia" fragrance on the rug, since from that moment on I have not seen a mosquito on my deck... and I usually sit outside at night when I get home from work. We don't use Off anymore when we go to the deck, and we used to get "eaten alive"! It's a miracle. The bottle of soap/candle scent in question was obtained from an online company called "From Nature with Love". I hope they still make the fragrance! I plan to buy more.
