Hi Everyone!

Just gathered some seed from my species tulips. Any tips on when/how to start them? Should they be sown fresh or wait for fall/spring? Thanks!

What are tulip seeds? Ithought all tulips came from bulbs. Would love to know about this.

I just ordered some more from the Riverbanks Bulb Sale; they actually live, multiply and return yearly for me. That is pretty unusual given my location. If you go to www.riverbanks.org and follow the link for the Fall Bulb Sale you can see pictures.

I never thought to look for seed and will be interested in learning more about that.

Yes! I have been looking for species tulips,so I ordered a bag of each.i have some small pink ones that have multiplied and come back for a few years.I think it is time for more.
