I'm new to the area, so am not sure what I had in my garden this early spring. They looked like bluebonnets, but I understand they require dry conditions, so not sure they would thrive here. The didn't exactly look like grape hyacinths.... but maybe that was what they were.... and there were tons of them! All that is left now is tons of floppy leaves which I would like to chop off so I can plant other things. Is it too early to do that - have the bulbs "refed" themselves yet? any thoughts? thanks

grape hyacinth! I have tons of them wild in the field here by Albany.

That's the Broadleaf Lupine, native to Oregon. There are a couple of native lupines in the northwest.
