Super bright foliage

Louisville, KY

I was wondering who has the plant with the brightest foliage. I have a few philos I would like to show that have extremely bright foliage.

This first one I got out of Kyoto Japan from a friend who worked at a botanical garden. Aparently it is a unknown hybrid similar to painted lady and a few other philos. But in all cases it is a much larger grower and in some cases extremely bright leaves.

No photo shop done on this one.

I got this other yellow philo years ago from a nurseryman who worked for a botanical garden. He had no idea what it was and it seems his later died. I believe it is a rare hybrid philo known in older books as goldiana but its hard to say sense all the pictures I have seen are in black and white. But the leaf shape is exactly the same and the name would fit it. This may have the brightest yellow leaf of any plant known!!???

Brian...is there any green in the plant? Is it as slow a grower as it looks?
