Jacobean Bulb

Central West (Rural), Australia

Can you tell me about this bulb,I have just been given one.

Divernon, IL(Zone 5b)

Is this a name for the Aztec lily? (Sprekelia)

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Hi goldenelm, it should do well in your climate, they can just about suvive here outside. Mine has just flowered and it lasted about 4 days, but what a flower.

They should be planted with the neck of the bulb just above the surface. In colder climates they can be put a little lower if outside, but normally, or in a pot, that is where they should be.
