Baby's breath

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I have some seedlings from B. Breath. The pkg reads to re-seed every few weeks. Have you guys ever grown BB?

BB or Gysophilia is a beautiful plant that seeds easily. I have grown it here in montana but it can spread via seed rather easily.

Soferdig, you just toss a few seeds every few weeks or the plant reseeds itself?

I'm dying for some queen anne's lace. I've never seen seed for sale of that plant.

I bought White Bishop's Lace- Ammi majus from Renee's Garden a few years back- very easy to grow ,but it certainly got billowy and hard to manage later in the summer.

Gwendalou, I have queen ann's lace growing in my yard as a weed. It sprouts all over. Every once in a while, one comes up in a good spot and I let it go, as I also like the flowers. I just pulled a bunch out when I was weeding. If I find another, I'll pot it up for you. These were wild plants where I grew up in the midwest. I was kind of surprised to see them here in my yard, as I have not encountered many in the 26 years I have been out in the northwest. Holly

They are all over the sides of the roads in some places here and also in Oregon where we have a vacation cabin. I've dug them up down in Oregon and tried to pot them but they didn't make it. However, I had zero gardening implements at the time, so that may have had something to do with it. I would love for you to give it a go!
