Help Identify - white growth over watermelon seeds

Two days ago I planted some watermelon seed (Johny's Selected Seeds "little baby flower") in my raised bed. I covered the entire bed with cypress mulch to help retain moisture from the installed soaker hoses, leaving an opening for the sprouts. Today I went to examine the garden and found the following (attached photo) completely covering the seeded areas. This strange white stuff did not appear above the pumpkin seeds which were planted the same way in the same bed less then 10 feet away. Can someone please help id what this is? And what do I do about it?

I've seen it growing on rotting logs, any rotting organic matter,
just observe, it probably will not bother the seeds and plants.

Probably slime mold, which also goes by the delightful name of dog-vomit fungi.

It shows up unexpectedly and does no noticible damage to your plants. It's an interesting curiosity though.

I appreciate the help. Dog-vomit fungi is a good description. I'm glad it wont hurt my melons!
