I've re-potted my serpens into an African Violet pot to see if it does better since it enjoys being moist. I'm hoping I can get it to flowa now:-).

Serpens experiment
Awanda.
Your Serpens looks real cute in the African violet pot. I hope you get a flower soon too. I am looking forward to see it. :o)

Well, it certainly looks nice & healthy. They seem to be rather touchy when young, huh? It should be happy in that cute pot.
I would put it in the coolest spot you can find.
My bigger one has got a bunch of buds forming. I keep it outside on my front porch where it only gets a touch of very early morning sun. It is cool and damp there with lots of other plants around it. Seems to do best there. I hope the buds make it all the way. I got one bloom on it last year. It had a BUNCH of buds forming this year, but most of them turned redish & fell off. It looks like a few will make it to flower. I will post a pic if & when it does.

Let us know how it works for you. What a cute violet pot too. Did you use the same soil that you use for all you hoya?
I have it sitting at a north window, get plenty of bright light, but no direct sun. I used the same potting mix I use with all of my hoyas.

Sweet! Keep us updated, please.
I have one teensy weensy (lol) cutting of this stinker left....it's mounted on cork wrapped in sphagnum.....I think I'm going to try it outside under the apple trees now that the risk of frost and freeze is past.
Mine definately do better after I move them outside. I think they love the fresh air and bright light.
