OH Allison, they are just beautiful. The Grey Lady starter you sent me is still just a wee thing but there is a bloom that is just about ready to burst. I am so excited! Can't wait to see the bloom in person. Your pictures are wonderful.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Lali gave me a bunch of tiny cuttings of Begonias/no roots ..I rooted them and they all grew big ! Most of them the real big ones are growing in our garden beds. But a few have stayed inside. These grew big and now I cut cuttings from them to root. I am working on a box of Begonias/AV's for Loretta !

Jan yes ! She is an Exotic Angel plant/CRYPTANTHUS BIVITTATUS Eunice sent me ! I love it :))
Lelly what I did was take pictures early this Am and did not have good light in my little closed in garden room. Hubby turns the lights off at 5 am it's to hot here and we run them at night. I should have waited for better light . Bright day light does better . My camera does take good close ups but not in that roo.
I hope you can get pictures of your babies !

Lots of pretty plants you have Allison. I still love Aussie Alice. One day I'm going to find one for my sweet aussie husband. He is the sweetest man that I've ever known. It is amazing how you can be married to someone for 18 years (my ex husband) and not really even know them, and then meet someone like my DH who is the greatest man I've ever met. I really am blessed to have found him. We have been married for almost 5 yrs and I love him so much.

I'm sorry to get off topic but he just means so much to me.

What a wonderful incounter, Allison. It brightens my day to know that there are good people in this world. We don't hear enough good news. The press just wants to publish gloom and doom! Thanks!!

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I agree with you on that one nanna. I don't even watch the news because things on there are so negative. I wish they would show more positive things but it seems that bad news sells much better than good news.

Great Growing Ali! all your begonias look great! you know, for the rhizomatous begonias, you can just stick the leaf in soil and they grow new babies too! Takes a bit longer than just planting the rhizome, but still, it works like a charm.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Yes I grew some from leaves you gave me too ! And my big hanging potted plant I had now is a new 12 inch pot full, and 6 inch pot full and a 3 inch pot full and a hugh plant in our garden bed ! I sent Bob and some other people plants of it. When I bought it from Ebay it was in a solo cup with about 3 leaves !
And a few Begonias you sent are in the garden beds growing doing great I took pictures/will down load soon. Oh those plants you sent begin with a "P" and I have a variegated one. Well I rooted the grew them nice gave Hubby to plant in garden. They are growing wild scampering all over the ground over and up the trees and Blooming ! The Geranium ( SP) is also in the same garden happy always blooming.
