For echoes, PerennialGirl, and jagonjune - Mums?

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Hi ladies. If you remember this at all, back in October (2005) I posted this picture of some of my chrysanthemums in a thread for new pics of my gardens, and you all expressed an interest in having some of it.

As you can see from the picture, it is competing for space with my Variegated Japanese Willow, so I plan to thin it out a little this weekend. If you are still interested in having some, just respond to this thread (and Dmail me your mailing info) and I'll pot some root divisions up for you in little pots. If you let me know by Friday I'll know how much I need to put aside. Anything not asked for I will just move to other spots in my gardens.

I'll keep them for 3 or 4 days after potting them up to give them a chance to recover a little bit prior to mailing them off. When I think they're ready to go I'll Dmail you the morning I send them - probably Express post.

Have a great day! --Ginny

Marilyn - You have DMail! --Ginny

In my garden, the beautiful mum is called 'Ginnylynn'. May not know it's official name, but that won't bother me. As long as it comes back every year, it will have a special place in my garden. Thanks Ginny.

It should be blooming for a while yet.

Oh, that's beautiful! I'm so glad it is doing so well for you. I'm also kind of tickled to have you refer to it as 'Ginnylynn'. I've never had anyone name a flower after me before :-)

Edited to add: Would you mind if I copied your pictures for my files Brenda? I would love to keep track of how all of my adoptees are doing through the years.

Mine just started to bloom, I was out there admiring it just this morning, such a lovely pale creamy pink - I like your idea, echoes, of calling it "Ginnylynn."

Thanks, Ginny, it's even nicer in person!

Cheryl, Donna, Brenda - you ladies have no idea how warm and fuzzy I feel right now. Thank you all so very much for making my day a little special!

Hi Ginnylyn,

It is such as beauty. It would be nice to find out what it's real name is.

Hi Charm. There are a couple of us working on that. Fingers crossed that we are successful!
