Vines To Grow Indoors In A Year Round Sun Room

SC, MT(Zone 5a)

I had a Kangaroo vine for many years growing in my sun room which also has a glass roof. The ceiling where it is connected to the house is around 15 feet tall. It gets most of the extreme sun from the east. I need something to grow up on that one side of the sun room. I got tired of the Kangaroo Vine...now I want something else.

I thought a trumpet vine would do OK because you can't kill them anywhere else but they obviously need a dormant period and it never came back this year. I have a Cobea (Cathedral Bells) now and it has bloomed it's little heart out. I fear it isn't going to last another year.

So if you have any ideas about something that will work I sure could use them.

I suggest bougainvillea. It does great indoors, given enough sun, and comes in wonderful colors.

BB,

You might want to take a look at www.logees.com they have a great selection of vines for indoors. They are pricey, but, a good firm to deal with. Also Park Seed has many vines from seed to keep costs low.
