Everyday I Sunny Faces climbing up my Deck/Ramp Sunny Smiling Faces
Shining on my day !
Hubby made me a little garden going along side of my ramp/deck. Many things are growing there. But these Sunny Morning Glory Faces have climbed up and each morning these a couple dozen smiling at me ! I am amazed each morning as they greet me ! It was 90 getting hot so it was getting ready for them to sleep but I was still able to get a few beatiful pictures to share !
O/T Everyday I Sunny Faces climbing up my Deck/Ramp Smiling
Those are beautiful, Allison! My husband built a trellis to grow MGs on. I sure hope they're as pretty as yours. I also planted some MGs and Sunflowers side by side so the MG can climb the Sunflower. I'll take pictures when they bloom. Thanks for sharing your pretties! I love to see them!
Amy they will be so pretty climing up the Sunflowers ! I can't wait to see !
I've never grown sunflowers or MGs before so I don't know how long it will be before they bloom. Still a bit, I'm sure. I'm impatiently waiting on lots of things to bloom! LOL
Oh they are both fun ! I have grown very many different types of Suflowers :)) And Morning GLories. They should bloom fast !
I've been working hard on learning to start things from seeds. I'm not very good at it, but I have had a few things come up. Trial and error, I suppose. I figure for every plant I kill, or seed I plant that doesn't germinate, I've at least learned something, so it's not a total loss. My ever-optimistic way of looking at it...though my patience does run thin at times. LOL
I sent you a dmail, Allison. :o)
They do seem to be looking in! You have a lovely home, Allison!
We just put the seeds in the gound water them and they grow ! The vines go down a ways. Some new ones coming up as we did not get all seeds planted at once. Hope I get a different color !
Last night our Night Blooming Cerus bloomed but we were too tired and both alseep by 9 PM. Maybe tonight ? it will be blooming again if awake will get pictures !
THanks Amy ! It's amazing what you can do to an old trailer to fix it pretty ! We paid One Thousand Dollars. I think 1969 home/single wide one bedroom. Hubby did it all over . Updating the electric and having A/C and Heat put in cost the msu as before this home only had window units. Huby does a good job ! All new plywood floors everything!
He did our home down the street also. We sold that one and bought this one.
Well bough this one but did not live in it for about 5 months and one down the street he gutted out and we did not live in for about 8 months.
We had Chirstmas/Holiday Catus and Pointsettis in the hanging over during Holidays but latley it got too sunny hot for them. Not they need something new.
Hubby loves to garden. We only have a few garden beds now but they are really neat ! Cool plants ! Love them.
Oh We got those hangers a few years ago at Joann fabrics grand opening store 60 percent off ! Can't remeber if we bought 4 or 6. Never used them until got my ramp/deck last year. I bought them in dream of this purpose !
I got a goverment grant threw Caring and sharing to get my ramp ! They use money from DUI's to build the ramps !
Allison..it looks great and so sunny and cheerful...thanks for sharing..Bob
Hi Bob ! Your Welcome ! Did you see the Purple bleeding heart plant you sent us !
What a beautiful porch!!!
Can you believe it's part of my ramp. To build by code correct amount of feet out and room for me to turn around and ramp has to be so long so wide and cemented hurricane standards and more to meet code. So I was able to get a little deck with my ramp !
Took me over a year to get and lots of paper work but was worth the wait ! I got a grant threw Caring and Sharing. I think you can find more info about them in a search they are out of Florida.
I can't wait to see m Sunny Smiley faces this morning ! BUT last night I got some excellent shots of our Night Blooming Cerus plant in bloom ! Queen of the Night she is ! She bloomed the night before but we were tired and could not stay awake for it.
If you've never seen this plant it is incrediable ! It takes a long time to form the bud a long rubbery like arm comes out and a bud pinkish rubbery forms until it is large. When it opens the flower has the best stongest sweet smell of vanilia. The flower is so large it would take two large open hands to hold it. They detailing is incrediable which I could capture much better this year with my new camera rather than throw away cameras ! I'll be down loading soon. Think I'll post another in picture plant files did one last year. LAST YEAR SHE BLOOMEd dozens of times even flowers on Christmas Day. I have shared many plants I grew from her and hundreds of cuttings. I have had her three years now my 86 year old aunt gave me a tiny cutting in 4 inch pot .Never did I imagine when given to me WHAT A Fascinting plant! I can't believe even in the past couple months how much she has grown. And to top this fascinating plant off She was my great Grandmother's and in our family about 125 years I can't wait to share the pictures later !
If you have never seen her ,,,your in for a treat !

Thanks Kelly ! I took a few more pictures this morning flowers just hanging over the Cherubs ! I wanted to get pictures of some of the larger ones closer to ground opening but Hubby soaked them with the hose before I got to them. Oh well another day. I did get many exciting pictures of our Night Blooming Cerus last night !
I love the different colored Morning Glory colors too. Hubby just plants so what color they come is a surprise for me ! He did not plant all seeds at once so some different ones are just starting to vine I can't wait to see what color they are !

It is funny how people love MG. I never grow them because they are native to my area. I have to constantly pull them out of my garden. One of the ones I love is a tiny red MG that shows up mid July. I always look for it each year. Let me see if I can find a pix. It is not as aggressive as the native ones and is very delicate.

What a wonderful way to greet the day. Beautiful. Thank you, Allison
Thanks Nanna ! These are wonderful special ones I got from Joseph from Japan. We were also supose to do and plant trade but he's a hard guy to get together with. But anyways he sent some different name ones but we did not keep track of the names Hubby just plants them. So I was surprised for the colors. He did not do them all at once so now I have new vines gettng ready to wrap for more surprises !
Linda one year I planted Red, White and Blue morning Glories I thought how pretty they'd look for Memorialday, 4 th. of July ! They were so pretty !
