Thanks Eunice ! Happy Memorial Day to you and all DG's Peeps !

I just wish more people would remember what it is for and not just another day off work. I was listening to a story about some B24 bombers from WWII last night. More than 19,000 were lost on those bombing runs, and that was only one instance. I live near Ft. Bragg and would never demean the death of any soldier, but I'm tired of the whining we hear all the time now. How do people think they got the freedom to whine?

You are so very right, Eunice. And the right to worship. Happy Memorial Day.

Absolutely the right to worship. So much we take for granted, even as older citizens. Most young people now don't even remember Vietnam. I am so thankful for those who stand up and fight for the rest of us.

Amen

The moon gives you light,
And the bugles and drums give you music,
And my heart,O soldiers,my veterans,
My heart gives you love.
