NY tree ?

Hi

Have a ? about a tree that I see quite a bit but have no idea what it is.

The flower is either pink or white and kind of like a spiked cluster at the end of the branch. It reminds me of a candlestick plant, but its on a real tree and the flower isn't yellow, lol.

Any ideas?

Dear Jen this is a little tough from your description but the horse chestnut would have a pink spiky flower and grow in the northeast. They get to be a pretty tall tree with the leaves a compound leaf of 5-7 leaflets.
