I saw this plant at the Huntington cactus/succulents gardens last week. It was marked sericeus but is listed in this catalog as maritimus (I think they are the same although the photo I took looks slightly different from the posted ones on the site). Has anyone had success growing this in our area? I'm in Ashland, Oregon.
Just saw this post. You should post this photo over in the cacti and succulent forum. Crassulady on that forum works at Huntington. (Isn't that a fabulous place?) If she is still active on the forum, she'll know the answer to your question. There are many other experts on that forum as well. I'd like to grow that one myself, but I'll bet it's too wet in my area.
