A Fun Contest ! In the Beginning
In the Beginning ~ In 1936 " The first Ten Hybrids" were introduced to the growing public.
This was a very exciting period for African violets.
All of the Ten violets still grown today had nautical names except one .
Question ONE ~ Which of the first " Ten Hybrids" did not have a nautical name ?
Growth habits of these first " Ten Hybrids " were somewhat different.
Question Two; What about these first " Ten Hybrids" was the same ? Explain the few simple charm about these first " Ten Hybrids" that are the same.

You will love the leaves from Allison. They seem to produce ears earlier than most leaves. Blace Ace eared for me in 4 weeks.

Then I'll do more shipping next week... mean while I am working all I can trans-planting plantlets from Mom and older plants and watering.
allison let me know how much i owe you on shipping. i can't wait!!!!! i had to seperate some plantlets today for the first time. i had put 2 leaves in 9 oz. cups when jan sent leaves to me. the babies were getting so crowded so i seperated each mom leaf with babies and put in own cups. they look so much better with just one mom and baby per cup : ) maybe they will really grow for me now :)
