I just graduated high school and will be moving in to a new apartment to start college.
Unfortunately, because of being in an apartment, I can not take any of my mom's flowers from her garden to plant.
I've been researching different plants and found that I am very interested (more than I thought I would be) in house plants.
I am wondering if anyone could help me start a house plant collection from scratch by sending some cuttings of what you already have.
I am particularly interested in these, but beggars can't be choosers and I'd be happy with anything..
Burro's tail
Mother of Thousands
Piggy Back Plant
Spider plant
Sarcococca
Buddha Belly
Pregnant Onion
Swiss Cheese Philo (the one with holes OR split leaves)
Hoya
Night blooming epi (or other blooming epi - I like fragrance)
Climbing and/or cascading
I really like the sort of common, but unusual. I can't seem to find anything as simple as the mother of thousands around here.
As I said, having just turned 18 years old, and a financially strapped college freshman, this is all new to me and I'd be happy with anything.
I appreciate the time you are taking to read this and any help I may get.
I will gladly send a sasbe!
Thanks!
Would like some help please -
I have spider plant plantlets to share. If you have a sunny window, I can also send you coleus cuttings (the trailing kind), as well as a cutting of a coleus called copper, which I have found to grow well indoors as long as it gets good (but not direct or strong) light. I also can take cuttings of pothos (the variegated kind) and send those along.
send me a d-mail and i'll be glad to coordinate this with you.
happy planting,
jovelyn
I can share these, if you can you do the postage?
