clipmate

I was reading another post here, and saw someone mention Clipmate, which I had never heard of. I googled clipmate and started reading about it -- and all I can say is thank goodness someone has a product like this. I've been looking for something like this for many years, but had given up. I can't understand how computer makers have been getting away with giving us such a lame clipboard all these years; maybe not enough people complained (or maybe they didn't realize what they were missing).

Now here's my question: The Clipmate site allows you to download for a 30-day free trial, at which point you either have to delete it off your computer or pay $30 to purchase it. Does anyone know of any cheaper (but reliable) places to download it, or of a rival (but equally good) product that costs less? I'm certainly willing to pay for the product but I'd like to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible.
