I met this great lady through a post she made on our local Freecycle.org e-mail list. Seems she was giving away her hosta because the deer just love 'em way too much. I responded to her post and got a real treat when she showed me their family's tiered garden, waterfall and pond. Oh, my! She's been over to our place a couple of times now (with daylilies and more hosta -- LOL) and we now have a new gardening friend.

She heard me yak endlessly about how great DG is and she subscribed. Please give deerandme a shout and say hello! I know she's very interested in deer-resistant plants and she loves to sew.

Well Welcome to the Garden Deerandme. You will find a friendly. knowledgeable and fun group here with every interest under the sun. If your passion is hosta and ponds, you are in good company. Whatever you want to share, you'll have good listeners. Whatever you want to learn, you'll have good teachers. Pull your chair up to the table and join right in the many conversational threads going on here in the garden. You are just as welcome as gentle rain and sunshine.
