Best way to root

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Is it best to root the cuttings in water or put them right into the soil?

Chris you will get a lot of different answers to this post. I have the best luck rooting with plastic baggies. Others like to root in soil. It will probably be trial and error to find the best rooting method for you.

Check the "Hoya related links" Sticky post on top of this forum, on the end you'll find some links regarding previous discussions on propagation. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/471942/

I root mine in water; as soon as I see roots, they go into a pot, covered with a clear plastic bag until I can see a bit if new growth, usually a couple of months.

Edited to say, but of course PanamonCreel's suggestion is the best!! (g'morning Milan!)
