Racoons

I am furious this morning - we are over run with racoons here. One has gotten into my (steel sided) barn. Dug under the foundation, got into the goat pen where I had quarantined one of my hens, apparently drug her out under the barn and she is gone. The ~!@#$% thing tore open a new bag of goat feed and then apparently wasn't satisfied so he came up onto the porch of our house and ripped open a bag of thistle seed. I hate racoons - hate them. We trapped one last winter who was picking off my hens and I thought we'd taken care of the problem. I am so furious. I must go haul rock to fill the big hole and set the trap inside in case it's up in the loft. furious. furious. furious.
