You are kidding!

My reference book says:

QUOTE
During the first year they germinate and have some growth, but no blooms. It is not advisable to transplant the plantils, so that the rhizome can develop undisturbed. On the second year they can be transplanted and a few might bloom, but all of them will bloom on the third year

Todd, please write a book on Chilean native plants!

And I transplanted them when they were 2 months old! Sometimes it is better NOT to read up on a plant and be surprised!

Although I do not have a greenhouse, from now on I will follow your sowing methods LOL.

Congratulations! Each year they will become prettier.

Where would you suggest buying the seeds for this flower?

Mine came from Chile! I have no idea where to get them in North America.

Thank you I will look into it.
