Mesa, AZ(Zone 9b)

Beautiful! How's the scent?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

How fun! I'm sharing in your joy because a nice group of
traders are sending or have sent me young Brugs, too!

They are sitting on our pond walk so I can watch them each
and every day from my office window. I'm so excited, I keep
looking, looking, even though I know they aren't going to bloom
soon. I have to be patient, but it's so hard!

Your pictures are wonderful!

Daydream is beautiful Patricia. Thanks so much for sharing and taking such great shots of the bloom. Sure is exciting getting those first timers ... Isn't it!! Looks like your headed for an excellent Blooming Summer.

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Oh Patricia, what a BEAUTY! Well done! :~)

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

I've got that one, and can't wait to see it bloom! All my babies are going through a long awaited growth spurt that makes me hope I'll see some nice results this year. All winter long things were stagnant. Thank Goodness it's really spring!!

Patricia, she is beautiful. I've never seen a double pink till now. Congrats!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

azreno, after you asked, I ran out to see if she smelled good. Well there was a slight scent but not as much as alot of my other brugs. Our weather has been cool, so I won't know for sure until it is warm outside again.

Nashville, TN(Zone 6b)

Beautiful!!!

Just starting to set buds here. I counted almost a dozen with new buds this morning.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful and big. You are so fortunate to have this growing in your yard and it must be spectacular in person. You did a great job of bringing it through the winter.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh YUMMY!! Congratulations! That is just tooooo cool. Oh man.. I'd be weak in the knees if that was mine!
I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing such awesome pics!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Thank you all, but most of all the wonderful person that shared this brug. with me.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So pretty Patrica. Monika is blooming for me now and looks so much like this one. You will love that one also! I should have taken a picture of them side by side.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Kell, I would love to see a picture of your B. monika. Mine is growing very slowly.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Here it is. The calyx is much more slender than Daydreams it appears. It has some calyx problems that I am hoping will resolve with time. I see your Daydreams does too. Maybe it is due to the time of the year and the first blooms. Too bad my other has stopped blooming.

Very Pretty Kell, please keep us on what happens with this one.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

My Day Dreams didn't have calyx problems at all.

Shirley, It is still pretty low to the ground, so isn't getting the best light and up until a few day's ago, we were still only in the 70's. It will probably look much better when we get warmer which is suppose to be by the end of the week.
Then we should be up in the 90's.

Everytime I look at it, it reminds me of the first Petticoat I got when I was a kid.

The side view of Monika doesn't appear that she has a bad problem if she even has a problem at all. I didn't see her bloom last year due to health issues.

I'm sure she will do well for you Patricia. I have buds on my plants now and we are having some nice, warm weather. I'm really looking forward to seeing my newest seedlings bloom. I'm just glad you have blooms on your Day Dreams. She has certainly made some people a lot of money on eBay, so she can't be all bad.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Shirley, I sure can't see anything bad about her. She is truly a brug. daydream.
I have a couple other Dbl. pinks that I am looking forward to seeing blooms on also. I even have one seedling that I grew out last year that I am hoping to see a bloom on this year. It bloomed out very late in the season and looking like it would be a dbl. pink.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Good for you. I have a friend who grew out a few of my own cross seeds and she has a double pink from one of them. I anxious to see it bloom for her again this year. I think I'm getting sick of double pinks now tho. I would love to see double yellow or orange, not peach. Anything different. Good luck with your seedling. I hope for you that it is a gorgeous double or even triple pink.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I know what you mean, I would love to have a double or triple yellow. I am trying to cross my B. Gemini with Dr. Suess, but for some reason my crosses don't want to take. But I will keep trying. I would love some of the shorter growing brugs. in different colors.

Patricia

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Sick? Sick of double pinks? LOL Shirley, do you have my address?

All kidding aside, they are gorgeous! Surely Kell, as the weather warms for you the calyx prolbems will change. But no matter, they are beautiful!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Shirley, you must be joking. Right? I'm sure praying that the one I have that I think is Day Dreams blooms soon, so that I know for sure. A very nice, generous lady here on Dave's sent me one last year, but the name tag got lost, so I have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed waiting to see. I lost several brugs over the winter, and am anxiously waiting and praying that Day Dreams was not one of them. Sure hope this nice lady's health is much better this summer, and she can get back to growing those beautiful plants. Love ya, S.M.

Kittrell, NC(Zone 7b)

I don't think I could ever get tired of a double pink!!! But I for one would sure love to try! LOL!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I hope, Monika will bloom for me this year. This is Day Dream, blooming last fall with a nice flush She had no calyx problems at all but one of the flowers had a skirt with ten tendrils.

Now, that's what I call a beautiful picture. It's so nice to see people posting pictures with lots of blooms and whole plants. Even pictures of brugs in the landscape. I love it. Keep them coming.

(Linda) Winfield, KS(Zone 6a)

OMG is that ever a beautiful flower. I am so jealous. I feel good just having a brug that is blooming. But if I had one of those I would think I had died and gone to haven.

Linda
