STILL dormant!!

Billerica, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi all,
I have a hardy hibiscus, Lady Baltimore, that is STILL not showing any signs of life! It's in full sun and every year has done beautifully. Any other z6er's having the same issue?
Thanks, LoraB.

edit to ask: Is it too late to move it? It's too close to the house and I'd like to put it into a better spot.

Consider the late spring you folks have been having. I understand the temps have been cooler than usual and remember, you had 8 consecutive days of rain recently. All this would cause your hibscus to break dormancy later than normal this year.

IMO this would probably be an excellent time to transplant it, the sooner the better.

with hardy hibiscus..you have to be patient they take a long time to come up in the spring, just when you wanna give up...there it will be..

Well, FINALLY signs of life. :-)
This time I put it into my garden journal so that next year I won't be hovering over it a month too early!

I moved it and am crossing my fingers it likes its new home.
