Smokey Mountain

Of all the Hibiscus I have right now this is my favorite. I love this color combination. This are the first blooms I have had this year. It was well worth the wait....

A pretty one. I also have it. In these still cold days in Belgium it has some petaloids and dark colors. Later in July/August it will be single with light colors, almost white with a little dark center.

Thanks so much for the comments, Carlos I hope you will take some photos as this change happens. It would be intresting to see what effect temp has on flowers. I know with brugs in this area seems the hotter the temps get the darker the flower. If they are flowering in late fall the deep pinks can be very, very light but in the heat of summer almost red.
I always like to see what happens to others and the effect of different climates on plants.

This is another favorite, I bought this one at Lowes last year. I think the tag was Cotton Candy but won't swear to it.....or maybe it was Taffy.......I know it was something that was candy............LOL

you have some of the prettiest hibiscus! I love your Smokey Mountain and your Gator's Pride. Keep the pics coming, they are so pretty.

You know last year I lost a couple and I am hoping to replace them this year as soon as I can find more liners. This is how the Smokey Mountain, Gator Pride and one more came to be at my house. I try and buy liners that are not as expensive as the one gallon pots of the Hybrid's.
