Pink Chiffon Hibiscus

My favorite color is pink and I just love this hibiscus. It is just starting to bloom and I think I am gonna have a ton on it this year.

WillowWasp, that isn't the Pink Chiffon variety I know. Is it the first bloom?

Willow, that looks like one I just bought at Wal-Mart. It was the last one there and had no blooms so I bought it as a surprise for myself. It opened it's first bloom yesterday....just awesome!

It had a big round card that said Hibiscus Collector series and was marked "Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis 'Kiss and Tell'"

Of course, at Wal-Mart you are never sure if the tag is right!

Pati, "Kiss & Tell" is a pretty dark red variety with 7"- 8" blooms. It hasn't any pink in it. Look at these pictures and imagine a red darker as digital cameras don't get reds well.

Thanks so much Carlos. I just noticed that you are in Belgium so I guess the remark about Wal-Mart didn't have much meaning! LOL They are notorius for mismarking their plants, ar least the one here is.

Soooo, one more plant with no-name, but what a beauty it is! One thing I noticed is that the leaves are smaller, darker and the leaf itself is thicker than my others. This might be the way it was grown and time out in the open will change it.

I think with this one and most of the Hibiscus vairiteys it is a guessing game on the name. I bought this one at Lowes and they also are notorius for mismarking plants. So I don't know that this is the correct name it is just the name on the tag.
This was not a first bloom and it continues to blooms the hot pink........
I have since given this one to my son to add to his yard. lol..........I did it by mistake I thought I was giving him the bright Orange and ended up giving him this one...........arghhhh..........
This is the one I thought I gave him.......
