Have lots of heirloom tomato and pepper seed.
CLOSED: Wanted-Epazote seed
Have epazote seeds. What kinds of tomato seeds do you have? Bill in NC
Hi Bill- Thanks for the offer, but I finally bought some last June. I'll be making a list to trade this Winter of my tomato seeds [have a lot!] Anything you're interested in particularly? Let me know and if I have them we can trade.
So, how did you like the Epazote???
I had some growing in my veggie bed [ from seed ],but never used it! Now I have a plant that I bought at work and have it growing in a pot...and still haven't used it! It's setting lots of seed though, so maybe, one day I'll actually use it !!
LOL! You are certifiable!
You know, when it comes to plants I think I am! I don't shop for clothes much [only when I HAVE to] but when it comes to plants, watch out! I would rather buy plants then shop for anything else~~~
I know what ya mean. Don't like to clothes shop, or furniture, etc. but gourmet food and seeds and plants... Egad! I go to Logee's 2-3 times a yar with JRush, and each visit I only allow myself 3-4 plants...then end up with 5! LOL! Could be SO MUCH worse!
I work at Home Depot [ I know! ], but I used to order all the plants [ still do behind the new kids back! ], so I was always looking for cool or interesting plants. My HD credit card takes a beating and my co-workers roll there eyes when they see me shopping for plants. I still need to paint my bedroom [ after 2 years of moving in!] but ecch...would rather garden so I guess i am 'certifiable' LOL.
This is getting to be bean weather here! It's too hot to cook a pot of beans in the summer but now it's cooling down. I have my pepper vinegar ready but totally forgot to grow some epazote! Thanks for reminding me! It gives great northern beans such a nice flavor!
Thanks for the tip! I love to make bean soup in the winter. Nothing better than sitting in front of a roaring fire, eating soup and homemade bread and watching the snow! Ahhh!
Hey cyber would you mind posting your recipe? Would love to know how you use the epazote and the pepper vinegar too, sounds yummy!
