Night Flying

Highland, MD(Zone 7a)

Lots of new creatures have been coming to our new outdoor lights at night. I have seen strange bugs and some pretty neat moths, one that was so tiny I couldn't get a picture but was a green as a leaf! One that I did get a shot of is this one, it was big and bold but I don't know what it is! Anyone!

I think that it is a Tulip-tree Silkmoth (Callosamia angulifera)

Color me educated! Thanks so much Kennedy! I am surrounded by tulip poplars and never have I seen one of these before! Now I have to be on the look out!

Thanks!
