Variegated Vinca minor (blue flowered vines) for SASE

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Variegated Vinca minor, rooted plants for SASE. The link below seems to be the closest match in the Plant Files for the plant that I have:

http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/37034/index.html

I will be pulling up about a 15 ft x 15 ft area covered with this plant. I tried it as a ground cover, but it grows too tall (about 1 ft with gracefully arching stems) and too sparse for my preferences for ground covers.

t may be considered "invasive" by some -- it will spread rapidly by rooting whenever a stem comes in prolonged contact with soil. It blooms in my garden in early Spring. Its flower color is close to being a "true" blue (without much purple tint), which seems to be somewhat difficult to find in flowers (I consider Plumbago to be a true blue, and the A. houstonianum coloration is about the same).

This variegated leaf type is attractive for use in hanging baskets.

Please send me a D-mail and specify how many rooted pieces of the vine you want (request by the dozens, if you wish, I have plenty!)

I am offering these for return of exact postage via your preference for shipment method. I am currently experiencing a glut of plants (if such a thing is possible for an obsessive gardener!) and don't have any particular plants I want in trade (but you may be able to tempt me with some woodland wildflowers that would do well in Zone 8b/9a subtropical heat and humidity or other "true blue" flowers).

If you haven't already done so, please send me a personal D-mail, Shirley. The individual notes help me keep track of pending trades and SASE offers. Otherwise, I am usually running about with 100 projects all at once and am likely to overload and forget to whom I owe what! LOL

Jeremy

I'm sending a dmail now.
