seed pods?

i found 5 seed pods on my brug. i have never seen this happen on her. i have had her for at least 5 years. should i wait until it falls off it and then dry them or plant them right away?

You don't know me because I have just started coming here. But I have totally gotten "involved" with brugs and I would love to try from seeds. If we can connect and you have any extra I will be happy to send you whatever you need to send me a few.

Hi Candela. It takes 3 to 6 months for them to ripen. They will show ripeness by splitting, or browning or mushing or all 3. Then the seeds will be ripe. Usually the seeds get darker when they are ripe.

Who is the Dad?

Both pods are ripe. One turned all brown starting with the peduncle and was very soft to touch. The green one got a brown soft spot on one side.
