A few early native alpines are starting to bloom at work. Here is Silene acaulis.

Salix vestita...probably the lovliest arctic willow
Saxifraga oppositifolia
Primula laurentiana....I sowed these May 2005.
Saxifraga cespitosa, also sown last May. This is just the first flower. The plant actually has several more buds that will be open in the next few days.
and the fresh new fronds of Asplenium viride. I collected this plant way back in 1992 and it is still going strong.

Your fern, Asplenium viride looks la bit like Felix-Femina,
which I have been trying to grow in my Plum Grove.
It is a handsome fellow!

Are you knowledgeable about germinated Fern spores?
I have some Felix-Femina germinated, but do not know when to
transplant, or the light, or anything. Ha! Many thanks!
