Hi there, new to Hoyas, but I hope not for long!
I have until very recently been a "lurker" on the forums, work has kept me from posting much. But, I just found myself with a little extra time (that could change in 5 minutes) and I have been wandering all over Dave's Forums. From gardening to Cacti. I am the proud owner of 1 lonely Hoya and have in my ultimate wisdom decided I need many more to feed my new found obsession with all things green, so, where do I get 'em? I need links PLEASE!!! :)
I have been outdoor gardening "full time" for about 2 years now, used to have loads of houseplants, but had this mad idea when we moved from FL, I wasn't going to have any....until now :) So, I took the plunge and here I am again, but have changed my taste in plants, I am going for climbers, hangers, Cacti, Succulents and more unusual greenery!
So, any websites with Hoyas and other houseplants would be greatly appreciated, as I stated on the Cacti forum, I can find the links, but I would love hear some personal experiences! Thanx!
Hi there.....
Welcome to the Hoya Forum and Daves Garden. There are mail order vendors on the opening page of the Hoya Forum. You can also look in Home Depot, Lowes, grocery store, nurseries, Looking for them is half the fun. I believe your plant is H. cv. krimson queen. Welcome to Hoya's...

lol!
I had a 'spell' like that...when we bought our house, we had to live with my parents for 2 weeks before the closing.
I gave away a whole lot of plants, though I still had hundreds!
Well...I'm back up (and beyond) to the number I had before we moved in!
Some ebay sellers are good, too.
But definitely check the GardenWatchdog posted above! You'll a couple of particularly good sources for hoyas.
I've found myself obsessed with hanging/pendant plants recently, too!
Welcome...come back often!
~~~~~~~~Waving hello and welcome to Dave's garden , and the hoya forum.
Thank you all for the welcome messages!!
Oh, yes I am sure I will need more, I always do!! :) Once I get back from my long awaited & much needed vacation next week I am plunging full speed ahead! I just need to figure out how I can get more window sill space!!
I took the advice from the Cacti forum, where someone told me to actually check in my local grocery store and last night while picking up some stuff I found a cool looking Cacti! :)
With any luck my house sitter won't kill anything while I am gone! :)
