Taylor, are the seeds really small? I didn't know if the seeds were good, so I didn't save any either.
Susie-
They look kinda like regular daisy seed, but I don't know how well they sprout from seeds, and explained this to Anastatia...
Although I've not been saving them, I have ben tossing them on the soil near the mother plant to see if they'd sprout...nothing so far...
I'm wondering if it need to be a vegetative propagation...

Hi,
You can purchase seeds of several Felicia spp from Silverhill Seeds in South Africa (they have an online site). The annual ones prefer cooler weather to germinate and grow, most of the perennial ones germinate in cool to moderate temperatures (no bottom heat advised). If you are trying to get seed from plants of F. amelloides, you will need two genetically different plants (grown from separate seeds, not from cuttings of the same plant) since most Felicias are self sterile and will not set viable seed on their own. This is true for quite a few other plants in the Aster family as well.
I've seen Felicia amelloides growing wild as small bushes when visiting SA , near Cape Town, its pretty cool to see such pretty flowers growing wild!
