I had a few of my tomato and pepper plants this spring that had a little leaf burn from he sun. I have window glass in my small homemade greenhouse and have to watch which plants I put where. I was wondering if I should use shade cloth on really bright days or is there another material I can use to diffuse the light.

Diffusing light ?
Hi Bensen,
Shade cloth will work, but there is also this product: http://www.charleysgreenhouse.com/index.cfm?page=_productdetails&productid=2035&cid1=204&cid2=814&cid3=-99
Another thought might be simply a layer of 4-6 mil plastic.

Thanks SB, I checked out Charley's Greenhouse Vari-Shade product and this seems to be the ticket. I like the idea of it being transparent when wet. The condensation in the winter would keep it clear. Also I could do just the area I need shaded. Thanks so much for your help
Charlie
