Hi!
I have hostas to trade. Are you interested?
CLOSED: have lots of hostas (variegated and green)
Hi there,
I would love to try some Hostas (this will be the first for me), so was wondering if they would do well in this heat here and do they need full shade? Can I grow them in pots? It gets up and over the 100's here sometimes for days at a time at 110-115 degrees..
Have some cannas, cactus/or succulent cuttings, Hoya cuttings and some seneicos that I can do cuttings of also. Let me know if these interest you or if you are looking for anything specific. Thank you for reading this.
Antoinette
Antoinette, they prefer shade, partial shade. They will grow well in pots. The hoyas you have are the ones with the thick petals that tlook like plastic? I would love some.
Anna
Hi Ms. Spider:
I would love to trade for some of your hosta. I am making a hosta border around my shade garden. Unfortunately, I started this before I thought about how many I would need.
I also have a butterfly bush, but I'm not sure of the color, although there is a good chance that it's not purple. And it's a large plant - about a foot across. It was five feet tall last year so I'm betting it will be even larger this year.
If this isn't for you, please let me know if there is anything else you would want to get in trade, as I have enormous perennial beds and am willing to share to get something I need.
Cathy
Cathy, butterfly bush would be great. I will send you a box of hostas next week.
thank you
Anna
Ms Spider ?!?! LOL!!!
Thanks, Anna. The butterfly is yours.
Let me know when you're sending the hostas so I can watch for them. I'll try to dig the butterfly this weekend and get it out early this week. Send your address!

I have a question. I was scrolling through threads I remember I had posted on and came across a message that I think was for me, got distacted, X'd out of the thread, and now can't find it again. In the course of looking for that, I found your post to me. Sorry, but I am a newbie and had neglected to put this thread on my watch list.
Is there a way to check what's on your watch list? Is there a way to search on this thing?
Cathy
Cathy
Cathy, you just click on watch this thread. And if you go to garden talk and home talk at the top of the page, you will find forums that you can watch as well.
I don't know what else to tell you. I don't use much of what is available. You can always post a thread at daves garden forum. There are lots of helpful and knowledgeable peeps there that can help.
