When I sent Jan South Shore Rose I kept a leaf. It gave me three nice babies. Two I sent to DG's friends here. Who has them !
One I kept and she is blooming for the very first time ! One of my most favorite plants !
South Shore Rose (7023) 12/17/1988 (E. Gross) Double pink two tone ruffled/some rose shading. Medium green, longifolia, quilted. Standard
South Shore Rose has the deepest fluffy rose like flowers. This is this babies first flowers !

Thanks Jan ! My pictures are not good though and even flash came on for some of the shelf pictures ?? I do love growing in windows ! You don't get as many flowers. Sometimes I take flowering ones off light stands and switch them ! But still no extra room on my stands :((
I am mailing you contest box and Lorry's in Monday ! I wanted today but got tired packaging Jill's box. Her leaves were ven cut and packaged this morning early 5 am and half a dozen of her plants packaged. Well their on their way finaly. I have specials for you !

Did you take the pictures in the early morning?Sometimes my camera flash does that.After the sun comes up good the flash doesn't come on anymore.

Your welcome Kelly ! I love growing the babies and sharing ! I sent two other people South Shore Rose from here DG's came from the same leaf of mine blooming now and a leaf from plant I sent Jan ! I'd have to look it up forget who got this beauty in their box !

Allison, you have the greatest violets and I love your new shelves that your DH built for you. It is obvious by the look of your violets of how great you care for them. And it is also very clear of how much you love each and every one of them. You really do know how to grow the best AVs.
