o/t update they are 5 weeks today!

they are 5 weeks old! we did have an unfortunate death of the solid white one on mother's day : ( they got sick very fast and the white one died quick. i started all the others on antibotics and they are doing great : ) they are very playful and energetic. giving mama cat fits lol. they are pounching and attacking her. they are getting brave and hissing at the other cats now lol. they are so fun to watch! they will be getting ready for new homes soon. my closest friend is taking the little light gray one next friday. the one in the front is one we call ' Callie' and is very attached to kaylee my 4 yr. old. when kaylee plays outside callie follows her all over the place and if kaylee doesn't pick her up she cries getting louder and louder until kaylee gives in lol. hubby says we can't keep one : ( but they will get good homes : ) thanks for sharing in their growing up!

Too cute! How did the mama act when she lost the one? In the past have had mamas that searched and searched for one they lost. Sad, but they do get over it.

april she had a hard time : ( i took it as soon as it died and burried it. she saw me with shovel etc. and meowed and meowed. i know i should of let her reject it but i didn't want to keep exposing healthier kittens to this sick kitten. she wandered around for 2 days looking all over the place meowing. she is a cat that doesn't meow much so i know she was grieving and she thought it was in the house i think because she sat at the door climbing the screen and tore my screen up a bit. oh course i had a cry over this because of the baby died on mother's day. i know cats don't know about mother's day but it was still heartbreaking. the baby that died always cried a lot so i spent alot of time cuddling him so i got somewhat attached. his death did save the others because i knew something was wrong. the antibotics have definetly made all the difference. as well as the kids and i praying for the babies.

ah Kelly, poor mama and poor you. It is a good thing that you found out there was a problem, how awful it would have been if all had been lost. Terrible timing though, it really must have been heart wrenching.

I am so glad that they are doing better now. They are so cute, I know that if I was there I'd be hard pressed to pass one up!

Good save. They are so cute. What made you think and antibiotics? Where did you get them? How did you give them to the kittens?

ah Kelly, poor mama and poor you so sad :(( I think that one was supose to be mine :(( Did you take them to the vet ? How did you get the med's/ I hope the people taking them will take them for their shots...
Oh I will pray hubby softens his heart and let's little kaylee keep her little kitty freind ! It would be so good for both of them.

yes i hope all taking them will get their shots. i know my friend that is taking the gray one is getting his shots when she gets him. she is great with her pets! i know it sounds crazy but we don't have the money to take them to the vet. our cats do see the vet but right now things are so tight. kaylee had some antibotics left over from this winter when they changed her medication. the antibotic was a good one and liquid. i just gave them a drop or two of it each day. they had their eyes all sealed shut and had gotten less playful. within a day of starting antibotics all eyes were much better and they played more each day. yesterday everyones eyes were clear looking and very playful today. i have seen improvement each day! i knew the antibotic wouldn't hurt them as i spoke with my cats vet. she said they definetly had to have some sort of antibotic.

Awww......I love baby kittens....they are one of my favorite things in the entire world!!!! (I'm so sappy!) lol

The only problem is...they grow up!!

this is my oldest cat Breezy she hates these kittens! she never got to have kittens as she was fixed at 6 months old and is so jealous! she is mad at me for playing with them and was growling at me.

allison i just love taking pictures of them! i know you understand as you love taking pictures of precious : ) aren't animals fun to photograph!!!!! i wish you were closer to me i would love for you to have one!

Yes my hubby wants know cats but if Precious and I wanted one he could not say NO :))

my husband isn't a cat person either. he likes Breezy but thats it. she is very picky and has an attitude problem but we love her : )
