How cool is this??

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Does anyone know which one this is and how to care for it? I live in fear that I will kill it. One of my best friends gave it to me and I sure want to keep it happy.

The same plant was identified for me last week on this thread:

It is amorphophallus Konjac it is a pretty tough plant. You can treat it like a caladium which is probably the best way to care for them. But in your area as long as you dont have any tuber eating problems just leave it in the ground all year.

It probably wasn't pink BEFORE you planted it. LOL

LOL Chele, LOL!! You are too funny!

I may be in trouble, caladiums do not grow here at all. It is not hot enough. Should I keep this in the shade and water only when very dry?
