My husband has a mini tree nursery. He can't resist digging up the trees that volunteer and putting them in pots. We have 10 or so, some in gallon size pots, up for grabs. Mostly Linden (seeded from a little leaf linden) and Mountain Ash but a couple of Elms as well.
If you've got space, patience and live close enough to Ottawa to come and get them, please let me know and I'll save some for you.

Can you tell I've just come back from the southern US> Apart from the politiks there - so had to really keep mouth zipped - saw wonderful trees in flower and met kudzu and climbing poison ivy for the first time.
Poison ivy everywhere.

PS iris bloomed while I was away. Glad I didn't send it as it is Cherry Garden, not the one you wanted.
