Proud Mama

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I did it! I never thought I'd be able to grow something worthy of being posted. I'm so proud of this flower...and i don't even know what it is (any ideas?) I waited until it bloomed a couple times so that i wouldn't jinx myself :o)) Dave's people are the best!!

Congrats!. It's a well known tropical hibiscus called "Sun Shower". One to have included in every wish list.

About a month ago, I bought that same hibiscus. They are truly exquisite, no matter the state of the blooms.

Thanks Ashley! I'm learning to use my new Sony digital camera and have thoroughly enjoyed using my back yard to practice on. The great thing about digital photography is that it's the same cost for 1 picture or 1000!
