Last nigth I found some ”treasures” my neighbour through away.
Very glad for the zink container, and thought for a minute that it would have been nice
If it had been oval instead of round (ungrateful me).
My DH has been mumbling that I should not be picking up rubbish (first time I do so)
Well, I told him that you can do so many things with them, and that the zink is a very fine thing to have. After some time it helped a bit :o)
Then this morning, when I was drinking my coffie, the garbage men were picking up my neighbours trough outs. Then I sow it, an oval zink tub!! I had not seen it there, rush out in my pyjamas but to late.
O well to bad, but glad that I rescued this two pieces
A bit untidy, just moved here.
Aquatic theme?
Was planing to plant some cannas and other plants in the zink container.
But it is a very good quality and kind of old, do not think they makes them like that anymore. It would be a pitty to make holes in it.
I am thinking of using it to make an aquatic theme,
but have no idea wicht plants to use or how to do it.
Please any suggestions?
The container is 32cm/”12.5” high and 62 cm/”24.5” in diameter.
Hope I got the inches right :o)
Think I will do something like this with the table
http://www.dr.dk/dennyehave/haveraad/uds10/gasbord.htm
ad a shelve at the bottum, and put some containers there.
I think I'd still use the container for plants. Sure would be pretty.
Hi Kaleem.
Are the pebbles intended, so that it is not to deep for the plants roots?
How much manure, and is it possible to use regular fertilizer.
Yes that looks like what I have in mind, a bit of long plants, low ones and other containers around it.
What is the grass looking thing and the waving green stems.
Do you get algie problems?
Lots of question LOL
Posted the question on the water forum yesterday as well, did not know it existed.
