Look how fast they grow

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

In this photo you can see just how fast these babies can grow. I put these leaves down on 2-21. Then I got my first little babies around 4-13. Take a look at how fast they grew from 4-13 to 5-12. Isn't it amazing how these little things grow? I think that most of the pots are the same from before and after but I'm mainly talking about the top 4 because you can see just how much they grew in just a month.

I think my label on the photos is a little bit confusing and I just realized that. I should have just used the words before and after, or the dates. The dates on there are when I took the photos, not before and after the dates.

Whoa, Jesse...how cool!! They sure grew fast :) Whatever you are doing, they must love it :))

I'm just loving them, giving them some light, and plant food. And they just grow.

Looking good for three months Jesse ! Right on track ! I don't know about you but I have grown thousands of babies and done a lot of reading and experimenting and read others experimenting and it always boils down to babies grow faster and more healthy in soil-less mix !

Hey Jesse! You're becoming a real pro.

Thanks guys. I do use a nice mix, or one that seems to be working for me. One third AV soil and two thirds perlite. It seems to be working good for me. The perlite experiment is going okay too but I think I prefer my normal mix.

I prefer the mix as well. I have also had better luck putting the cups on a wetting mat and using a dome to cover the leaves. The leaves and babies seem to do better.

Awesome! I hope my two grow that quick after they come up.

I hope they do too. Mine are really growing well although I had to throw some out today because I left them covered too long and they turned brown and mushy. So I'm not going to cover them anymore. They others did great without it ; so from now on, no covers.
