Which hummer?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This little guy was sitting on a teeny limb in my cocoa de madre tree. The wind was blowing and he/she was bobbing up and down. I watched it for a while trying to figure out what it was. It was a bigger hummer, like a buff belly or rufous. I think it's a female rufous, but I just can't tell. Its back and wings were greenish gold in the sun, the belly was tan/gray and it had a big black spot on its breast. The wings had white stripes. It sat on the limb long enough for me to go inside and get the camera and take three pictures. The pictures aren't the best, the wind was blowing pretty hard and the limb it was sitting on was bobbing really bad.
Oh, it's beak was all black.

He was probably a stray, just passing thru. We get all kinds of birds like that.

I've been told by some of the 'specialists' that sometimes the rufous hummer passes through Texas.... could be one!

I'm still confused by the white on the wings. There was a lot of white. Also white around the neck. I guess it could be an immature rufous.
