I have one too, and the snails just love it. It got demolished last year but this year after much snail bait, it is putting out new pretty leaves.

I have some that look like this, but the nurseryman told me they will get 20-30 feet tall, so I'm guessing they must be a different type. I have them in pots, but want to transplant them into the ground. Any advice?

I still have mine in its pot, Vetaflame. But I think they like very good drainage so make sure you give them that.
