Wanted: Perennials w/ name "Heather".

Penfield, PA(Zone 5b)

My 31 yr. old sister was killed in an automobile accident last Friday. Her two boys and I are going to plant perennials on her grave, and I thought it would be nice to incorporate some plants with her name.."Heather Kathleen Park". I am not asking for free plants, and I really don't have the money to do postage right now. I am just asking if you guys know of any plants with her name. I have heard of 'Heather', but are there any others that you can think of.. such as daylilies or any other low maintenance perennials? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Here are some ideas. Most in this search are heather the plant but there are a few other types of plants with the name.

You have my most heartfelt condolences, give the boys a big hug please.

Staci,

I am SO sorry for your loss. I lost my younger brother last year. He was 34 years old. I started a memory garden in his memory and it has been a comfort. I planted some of his favorites along with a hydrangea that was given at his funeral, guardian angel hosta, ghost painted fern. I am on a quest for Brian's Angel hosta. I hope you and her sons get some comfort planting the plants in her memory.

Brenda,
Thanks so much. The boys and I have already planted a flowering crab pple tree and some asiatic lilies, tulips, and hyacinth bulbs that were sent to the funeral. We planted them on the property where she lived, which is owned by my parents. Next, I want to plant a small garden around her headstone.

Staci,

I'm sure it will be beautiful...I had planted 'My Love' glads for my brother which were white with fuschia but the funny thing was when they bloomed they were all red which was Brian's favorite. He usually always had a bouquet of red glads at home or in his salon when they were in season. I like to think he was watching over them and wanted them his way. :) I will be watching to see what color they bloom this year. The daffodils in his memory garden bloomed way before any of the others in my gardens even though they are in a fairly shady place and I didn't expect them to do well at all and they did the best of all I planted. I think he wanted his to bloom first. I think he is watching over the garden.

I hope you garden gives you as much comfort as mine has.

Brenda~
