(laugh) I usually hang out in the gesnersaid forum but thanks to meeting begoniagirl aka Laurie :) I have now developed quite a fascination with these wonderful plants

I have heard of Palm Hammock though I have not been there yet. We go to Miami often enough though so we should check it out

Lorry, that's the place I told you and Chris about when we were at Fairchild (read Nirvana for the begonia lover).

Since you are so close to Fairchild, you'll love going there for a visit too. Better give chris the checkbook that place is dangerous!

you should have seen Butch and I, loading begonias up on our carts (me twisting his arm to get this one and that one!) He didn't need to twist mine, I'm a sucker for any begonia!

I got all my babies planted up that you sent and will take leaves of Pink Eyes to the arboretum to propagate!!
Begonias and gessies go hand in hand you know! (and you know there's no turning back now -evil laugh! )

so jealous! Just trust me when I say you'll be in serious trouble the minute you get out of the car. The entrance is beautiful and loaded with beauties! Hoya hanging from the palm trees, b. imperialis growing like ground cover, water falls, and the Jade vine,... sigh! It's so incredible.

Woohooo..I am off to palm hammock saturday :) I am sure this will be an adventure!

Hope you have a big car. PHOE is a fantastic place to buy all kinds of plants. And take your camera. They don't mind pictures at all. This is a shot of their castle.

I got my Gloxinia sylvatica and Kohleria 'Jester' (and yours) there. I saw episcias growing but not for sale and some AV's (Rob's April Storm, Golden Threads, Golden Threads Sport, Golden Eyes, Winnie the Pooh) - Perhaps just ask Tim about the episcias. He's a doll!

Cool Joolster :) how incredible :) I am soo excited :)...Is there anything I can pick up for you there? I would love to repay your kindness for the succulents :)
