Daylily sale this weekend!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Is anyone else interested in getting up at the crack of dawn to meet Debbie and me at a daylily yard sale? It starts at 7:00 am tomorrow morning and you need to be there before then!! When he drops the ropes at the end of his driveway and the people rush in, the sale is over in less than 2 minutes - or at least it was last year. However, the daylilies are gorgeous and cheap and the company is fun, so it ends up being worth it. :-)

Here is the website with the information and pictures and prices of the daylilies he has for sale: http://www.ofts.com/bill/daylily.html (Click on "My Daylily Yard Sale" on the left side.)

He's on the north side of town, near 610 and Ella. If you are interested, dmail me and I will give you his address. I hope more people will join us! We're going to go to breakfast afterwards, too.

I think I'll go set my alarm now so I won't forget tonight...

I get to go plant shopping for Mother's Day. Yayyy! Wanna go to Joshua's or something after breakfast, Debbie? Maybe some other folk can just meet us there if they aren't interested in early morning daylilies. :-)

Sounds great! I haven't been to Joshua's in ages! The more the merrier!

Marylyn--with the "evidence" in hand, or rather the trunk. We left a view plants at the Daylilly sale and a few at Joshua's for the other gardeners....but not many! giggles....

We need to call these people in advance and warn them DG'ers are on their way!

(who still has RU and Cornelius plants to plant and now has even more to plant)
but still giggling!

Oh, thank you! Now we need to twist Maggie's arm into an Arbor gate run....hehehe

Well, as far as us getting lost, I led the pack by looking at a map of the city I've lived in for 20 years and confusing 10 with 610....my mind is mush, or maybe mulch...lol

By the way, I'm going to try to air layer you some of that indigo stuff for your shade.

Oh, I would love that, Debbie. Thank you!!

Calgary Stampede opened up this morning, in the rain....still in the pot. lol

I'm "testing it out for possible planting locations" is what I tell myself....
