Yesterday Morn when I woke these little peeps looked so sweet on my light stand together ! On the way left a Chirita flower coming over to say good morning to bell flowers of Midget Lillian. A baby Cajun Trail in front and a baby Aly's Rosy baby way to the right saying good morning !

Love the Midget Lillian. One of the buds on the one you sent me will be opening in one or two days. Can't wait to see it. I love the variegation on the leaves as well. Thanks again for this precious plant.

Allison you are such a good mom. Your plants always look so healthy and well cared for.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I think this will be the Midget Lillian that goes to Jill MOnday ! On the left in full bud again is Chirta Tamiania . She is very small growing and I find like a lot of close light , moisture and humdity. I think if a closed garden with lots of moisture and light would be good for her and she stays small but I don't have this.
Chirta Tamiania
Tiny little Chirita with light green foliage and trumpet shaped white blooms in clusters. The long white trumpets have a blue mark in the center. Beautiful little Mini growing cute Chirita

Thanks Deb !

Very pretty. All of them.

Allison, I am thinking of minis for a terrarium- epescias, AVs, whatever, something that will flower. Any suggestions?

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thanks April... Chirta Tamiania has stayed small for me . She likes to be close to the light and not dry out. You may have her if you'd like. She is full of buds. As long as I keep her close to lights she flowers and is happy. I would think E. Silver Skies would be good too ! and even a moni trailer Rob's they like to use their's for ground covering so why not ground covering in a

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

That's a great idea Allison, I hadn't thought about using the trailing ones for ground cover! If you are trying to get rid of Chirta Tamiania I will take her and give her a good home- she was on my new list; however, don't feel compelled to give her away.
Thanks

My Raspberry Queen bloomed about a month ago. It is the one you sent me Allison. I only had 2 blooms but they were as pretty as yours. I was also able to get a leaf and a sucker to grow.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thanks Linda The plants are still young and this is first blom. If these plants would become heavy bloomers they would knock your socks off ! I'm glad you have leaves down she is not that easy to find and such a beautiful plant ! She grows well by leaf I have been able to share her a lot. I will try to get better pictures with sun light it was still datk and pictures come out better for me in natural light.
Keep enjoying !
Allison

April ! I think I will put her in the mail in a little box by herself while she is full of buds. So cool how Chirtas buds open ! One flower comes out you think this is it then more keep coming out of the same bud !
LIttle Storytellas are not old enough to ship yet .
But the Chirta Tamiania is looking so good, new pot , full of buds I'd like to get her to you now !

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

Violet, Rasberry Queen is beautiful!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thank you ! Welcome to DG's ! And our wonderful
African Violets and Gesneriads forum ! Do you grow any African Violets and Gesneriads ?

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Wow, great pics Allison!

I sent you a multi-crowned Midget Gumdrop.... hopefully you will be able to get it to bloom rather than suckering continually! I also tucked in leaves of another mosiac AV that I fell in love with, 'Raspberry Sizzle'.

My Chirita tamiana does not fit your description at all! In fact, she looks more like an episcia.... may be a mis-ID by the person who sent me the plant.... no matter, I still love it!

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

I have one, a Violet Optimara. Also I have two leaves from the AF my neighbor gave me. I asked for help with it a while back. I lost the plant but have the two leaves, one has roots. Thanks for the welcome.

Oooo Allison! You sent me a Raspberry Queen and it is doing so well. Just yesterday I transplanted it into a bigger pot! (In fact yesterday I did a LOT of transplanting....) The Wasp, the Queen, Steel Blue, and two of the trailers got put into larger containers. It's a good think I don't entertain often, because my dining room table is the best spot in the house as far as light goes! Poor husband....

Sanna

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Hang around her and before you know it you'll have all kinds of names leaves abd plants !
We are also starting up Bingo games next month and you can win named plants and leaves and suplies !
I'm going to take /try to take a good picture of Chirita tamiana today before it goes to her new Mom April !
I think as long as it has a lot of light it will do real well is your terrarium-setting April. I fount if I kept it close to light and nicley moist did not like to dry out was fine. It's a miniature Chirta I feel you will really enjoy her ! I don't think I will put any Storytellas in even though some are in their own little pots and their miniatures but I think I will feel better if their a little bigger.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Sanna super great ! Those are all some of my favorite plants. Love Steel blue ! Just give them as much light as you can and they will honor you with zillions of flowers !
Put leaves down of all your plants for sharing and fall trades :))
I know I have plants and dirt in every room every where. Poor hubby is trying to clean out the closets now .

Eureka, CA

Yup, leaves are down everywhere, and more going down today, after my transplant and cleanup. I need to scrub up some more containers today to transplant more of the babies you sent me. I can't wait to get Ultra Violet Dusk going, and I have 3 or 4 Rebels Crested Robin - oh! and the Buckeye Cherry Topping (only one leaf made it) has just started, after 4 months.... putting on babies ~ they're pink! I love them all.....

As always, thanks again.

sanna

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh wow Sanna pink babies ! Love them. Buckeye Cherry Topping is an a great plant !
How about your Namley Nancy ? I love that plant too and the pink in her foliage ! Have you put leaves down from her !
I'm so happy all are doing great for you ! Great growing Sanna !

Eureka, CA

Oh that's another I transplanted yesterday! I seem to have a hard time with her leaves, for one reason or another. I've done well with most of my leaves, but I've yet to get one with babies. I have one right now in a dixie cup that I think is finally going to make it. I can tell it has roots (tug-tug) but no babies yet. And yesterday I took 3 leaves from the mama you sent me to put down. These ones WILL do well. I love the foliage, and can't wait to see the blooms.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Does Nancy get a lot of light ? As she had bloomed well for me a few times already and should be blooming for you. Most important thing for lots of flowers LIGHT. Al the can get !
