didn,t know i could get so excided,i put down leaves about 6 weeks ago,
went and check them today,got 2 tiny leaves,just can see them,but they
are there.oh shoot far got to see what the name was

It's exciting, isn't it?! I have a bunch of leaves down that I check on twice a day, and it's always a kick to see some new ones peeking out :-)

i got this violet that was give to hubby at his second job.its called a cygnet,it looks like there 3 in this 4in pot,but on the bottom its turning white ,what is that

It's some kind of Cygnet. You know how I sent you Alsobia Cygnet ! There are many kinds and maybe when it blooms we can tell more.
Does the pot not have a bottom ? Cygnets are different like a little more room. Plant it in a new clean size up pot. Even hanging baskets are good. How was it grown inside ? Out side ? Is it Pest Free I know hard questions pest they both Av's you need a 30x .
I can't make out the white in the picture sorry ? Is it salt build up ? Not mealie bugs right ?
Give it new soil top bottom check roots... They like it humid and food and lots of light.
Isolate all new plants... They can kill your whole collection :((.

i,m not sure how she grew them,i don,t know the lady ,hubby works there.
ok i repoted it,there was 3 big root balls in that one pot, when i empty it they came apart ,so i put them in 3 different pots.roots look good,couldn,t see nothing with( m glass).only thing i see in the potting soil they was in was some little silver flecks.no the pots didn,t have nothing but holes in botton of pots.
one of them look like it was trying to bloom.

Sounds like you did real good Eunice ! Now you will have three real nice plants ! They will keep growing new plants in their pots like trailers. Cygnets like a larger pot ! Can't wait to see flowers ! Good job !
I don't know why we should all get so excited about this, it happens nearly every time we put down a leaf, but we still do. When I see babies I can hardly contain myself, feel like calling everybody I know and of course my kids look at me like I am some kind of yoho!
